Paint Warranty

Your painted windows and doors are finished with Uraqua by Colour Alliance, a high-performance exterior coating. When properly maintained, the finish is protected under a 10-year limited paint warranty provided by the coating manufacturer.
 

1. Warranty Coverage (10 Years)

• No natural visible cracking, peeling, or blistering for 10 years.

• Color stability: maximum fading of Delta E 5.

• Gloss retention: minimum of 30% over 10 years.​

2. Conditions Required for Warranty Validity

• Coating must be applied to approved substrates: PVC, fiberglass, pre-painted steel/aluminum, treated aluminum.

• Finish must be factory-applied under controlled conditions.

• Product must be maintained according to the guidelines in this summary.

3. What the Warranty Does NOT Cover

• Weather damage: hail, lightning, hurricanes, tornadoes, windstorms.

• Fire, chemicals, radiation, falling objects, impact damage.

• Damage from storage, handling, installation, scratching, or abrasion.

• Substrate defects: warping, twisting, shrinking, cracking, or corrosion due to improper preparation.

• Improper cleaning: high-pressure washing, solvents, abrasive tools, undiluted chemicals.

4. Required Homeowner Maintenance

• Rinse with low-pressure water only.

• Clean using mild, diluted household detergent.

• Use soft cloths or soft-bristle brushes.

• Avoid pressure washers, solvents, abrasive pads, and harsh chemicals.
